Electricals Started

The electricians were on site today wiring up the house.

Lots of wires going every where, I will walk through the wiring plan in the morning.

A few issues were discussed with the electricians:

• Why do we have a single and double in the laundry (I suspect the single was never removed when we changed to a double.)  To make it easy we moved the single into the cupboard so it could be used to charge an item
• The height of the junction boxes for spare circuits were marked as 1800mm, this would be unsightly so we moved them down lower.
• The batten lights could not e installed in the entrance way setback, they will put junction boxes in the roof for latter installation of down lights.

The height of the bi fold door lip is certainly not too low, in fact I believe it is too high. It is 60mm above the floor level, which will still be quite a lip even after tiles.
